I like the ricotta crostini, blue crab crostini, lamb sliders and grandmother’s ravioli! Andrew Carmellini worked with me at Café Boulud for many years and is an excellent chef.
My Grandmother's Ravioli: This is some serious ravioli. It’s stuffed with beef, veal and pork, topped with a thick, zesty sauce and a sprinkling of cheese. Lovers of light, airy pasta need not apply. Mehr erfahren
The food here is exceptional, compared to some of the other restaurants that have more than one Michelin star this one is far better. Excellent wine selection with sommelier! Ravioli to die for! Yum!
A tad scene-y and food can be mixed. However, for solid brunch fare, start with the sheep’s milkricotta with truffle honey ($15) and move to the uovo modenese with cotechino hash ($20). Mehr erfahren
The food, quite simply, is just delicious. The complimentaryfocaccia is divine. Try the paccheri pasta with the lamb sliders. The riccota crostini dish is very lush too. Buy a bottle or two of wine!
A perfectly balanced interior, is upscale yet approachable with wonderful service and a strong showing in food. Ricotta, Ravioli, and the Rice Pudding are all winners.
Sheep's milkricotta and the meatball sliders were fantastic, but the spaghetti alla chitarra was too overpowered by the seafood taste and the paccheri was a little too al dente. Nice wine selection!
Sheep's milkricotta and blue crab crostini were amazing apps. Then, make sure to taste My Grandmother's Ravioli, filled with braised short rib. The private room in the back feels like Hogwarts!
Andrew Carmellini's rusticItalian spot is one of our favorites in the city, with flawless pastas, crostini, and mains. Start off with the ricotta, leave room for dessert.
Oh my goodness, the plates! The sheep's milkricotta, my grandmother's ravioli, chocolatetorta, the list goes on. This casual spot is infamous for low key celeb hang outs. Go for all meals always
Grilled orata (type of fish) with tangy, citrusy salmoriglio sauce was superb. And definitely try the sweet corn budino (kind of flan) with caramel popcorn...out of this world!
This is possibly the best meal we have eaten in the last few years. Each course was just amazing. So fresh and distinct. Genuine service was brilliant as well. I can't recommend this place enough!
The food is amazing. I went with a special mushroom pasta (it will be in a regular menu soon). My friends tried also Blue Crab, Burrata and Asparagus for starters. Everything was delicious.
Simple, delicious food. Great room, great vibe. Very cool spot but relaxed and casual. Good for celebrity sightings. In Tribeca, and totally worth the trip Reservations a must at night
ChefAndrew Carmellini's return to the stage, following A Voce, is a rusticneighborhood Italian resto at the core. And on Mondays, home of some of New York's best fried chicken. [Eater 38 Member] Mehr erfahren
Don't miss the sheep's milkricotta served with truffled honey and burnt orangetoast. Follow it up with the Uovo Modenese: Poached Eggs with Cottechino Hash, Spinach and TomatoHollandaise.
if you there in the summer the huckleberryscones are boss in the winter they make a warm apple ciderglazed doughnut and my GOD!! its amazing i could eat 15 if they legally allowed me to consume them
Everything here is good! One of the few we go back every time we are in town (maialino at gramercy parkhotel ....). Love the tripes with eggs for brunch 😂.
The annual pumpkin loaf. It's speckled in toasted pumpkin seeds, dense and impressively moist. Practically a pound cake, rich in butter and full of that straightforward pumpkin flavor, lightly spiced. Mehr erfahren
Interesting decor, cool vibe. I went for brunch, the Pastry Misti plate is a sweet treat with each item a perfection (cinnamon roll, marmaladescone, blueberry muffin). Great for sharing.
Great TriBeCa institution for Italian food within walking distance of waterfront. Great wine list - focused on Italy (of course) and carefully curated.
This is Robert DeNiros restaurant, who i dont like all that much, but the food is amazing. Try "My Grandmoms Ravioli" and the pork t-bone. The bread wirh garlic, also deliciousss!!!
"The masculine interior lends itself to ordering warming pasta dishes and a hearty bottle of red. The white vealBolognese alone is worth the cab fare.” - Adam Hyman of CODE HospitalityMehr erfahren
Sheep's milkricotta is a must. Depending on the time of day you visit, the shaved Porchetta Sandwich and the Papardelle with Lamb Sausage are both exquisite.
A single thick, meaty octopustentacle that’s been slow-cooked until tender, charred on the grill, and served with tangy romesco won’t last long in the middle of the table. Mehr erfahren
Lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberry and meyer lemon curd. Even if you aren’t a fan of lemon, these are definitely a delight you will want to dig into. Mehr erfahren
No Res? Eat at the bar. One of the terrific spots in NYC where the bartenders take your name and give you the next spot. So give them your name when you walk in.
Sheep’s MilkRicotta, Steak Tartara Piedmontese, Tripe alla Parmigiana. Worth a mention the Gigantone with Sunday night ragu and Fonduta Agnolotti with figs and Roasted Sea Scallops
If you don't have reservations, expect a weird sequence of events but they will accommodate you. The duck is crazy good and their peardessert... OMG! A picky MIAMIAN satisfied!
Locanda Verde is a casual, energetic, affordable neighborhood Italian taverna in TriBeCa serving celebrated chef Andrew Carmellini’s soul-satisfying riffs on Italian cooking.
