Hands down, one of our favorite tapas spots in the city. Come here with a large group of friends and order The Whole Shebang - one of everything on the menu! The fried goat cheese balls are unreal.
Absolutely delicious tapas. Fried goat cheese and Brussels are huge for starters. Mains included scallops and ribs which were very much enjoyed 😋 go here now for good food and comforting atmosphere
Really great atmosphere and decir, fantastic staff, food is wonderful. Fried goat cheese, burrata, Brussel sprouts, corn creme dessert. Supposedly duck and pork belly are good as well.
If you get the whole shebang (which is delicious) make sure they bring you all your courses! They didn’t bring out four of ours. We had to ask twice. I just happened to be checking them off to know.
It's hard to pick one thing here, but the secret is that you don't have to — it costs $490 for the whole menu, which is 44 dishes altogether. Get a group of 8-10 people, and you won't be disappointed. Mehr erfahren
Romantic space, great ambiance, good service. All tapas style food. Our top three faves were the trumpet mushrooms, Philadelphia surprise, and brussels sprouts. BRING CASH.
This place is unreal. The ambiance is great and cool inside. The fried goat cheese is crazy, the Brussel sprouts are amazing, gnocchi is great and chickencigars.
Situated in a townhouse, this restaurant is a maze of rooms that make up a variety of seating areas. Recommend 3 tapas per person. The cost adds up, but the food is worth it! Note: Cash/Amex only.
If you're with a big group get the full menu - great value for an amazing meal! Makes for great birthday celebrations, etc. The house sangria is a little too sweet, so get a few bottles of red instead
Wine list for days, but there's a helpful short list for the wary. Fried goat cheese, mackerel, salmon tartare great. Coho salmon, burrata, and gnocchi fell onto the I-could-make-this-myself list.
Great selection of delicious tapassmall plates. Lots of vegetarian options. Great drinks, and a very romantic atmosphere. Weekends usually require a reservation, but there is often space at the bar.
get the chorizo & shrimp skewers, skip the mushroom & fontinaflatbread, get the bottargalinguini (AMAZING), pork belly w. quail egg, skip the empanadas, get the goat cheese and lavender honey balls
Sit on the top floor for balconyview. Cozy, rustic and on the romantic side. Get the crispy Brussels sprouts! The mussels dish comes w what seemed like nearly 50 mussels, def worth it. Great service!
Excellent tapas! Perfect for dates. Order their Sangria and enjoy the lamb tangible, grilled octopus and calamari. For vegetarians do order their Gnocchi and flatbread with pesto.
Everything is delicious! Some of our favorite dishes: boquerones, octopus a la plancha, fried hen of the woods, grilled wild shrimp, grilled hanger steak, lamb tagine.
Amazing tapas - fried goat cheese, crispyartichokes, lamb meatballs, calamari, Brussel sprouts, grilled shrimp and chorizoskewers and the beef sliders and gnocchi are all a must. Buen provecho!
Solid tapas in a sprawling dining area that spans the entirety of the townhouse. Desserts were all fantastic. Falafel was a favorite. Skip the skirt steak
Sangria is awesome but be careful- its strong! 1 may be enough. Brussels sprouts are out of this world- so is everything on the menu! Back room is romantic but if you can't get a table, sit at the bar
All tapas dishes were delicious! Sangria is huge, and superb. Service was wonderful, and the decor is unique. I wish there was Spanish music (or any other music).
Mediterranean and Spanish cuisine come together seamlessly at Alta. Their small plates, such as the bacon and dates, lamb meatballs, and crispy brussel sprouts are best when shared.
Yum! Excellent food (scallops, paella were some standouts) and excellent service. We stayed forever and manager asked us if he could buy us a round at the bar to free up the table - everybody wins!
Food was good. Brussels sprout are delicious. Wine price is pretty much reasonable. Just be careful: they automatically apply a 20% gratuity on your check without even asking.
Just get multiple orders of the mushroom pizza & the brussel sprouts. Leave the mushrooms and crispypolenta. The grape leaves are also tasty. But those brussel sprouts are amazing.
Don't let the cheesy decor fool you - everything here is delicious, but the serving sizes are small, so come with your pockets full of cash, and yes - they are cash only.
Expect very small portions, this is a tapas style place so get at least two orders per person and split it with the table. If you aren't on a budget, order the whole shebang, love the octopustentacle
2 people? Get 7-8 dishes. You'll be so full! I recommend the steak tartar, avocadorelleno, duck rillette, goat cheese balls, brussel sprouts, short rib.... Pastramiravioli and beef sliders = ok.
The sea basstartare is refreshing and delicious. The pulled pork empanadas are forgettable. Definitely sit on the terrace floor if you're with a special someone.
Harper's Bazaar says, "This is one of our favorite tapas places in the city, and they have a fireplace in back that's so fun to cozy up by in the winter."
SHORT RIBS-amazing . Need a reservation. Been here many times food is always fantastic. Food comes out kinda fast. The whole shebang is also fun but bring alka seltzer
The home-made pizza, crispy brussels sprouts and avocadorelleno were the highlights of my meal. Warm decor and intimate settings makes this place an easily overlooked gem.
This Greek restaurant is perfect for large groups as they have a very diverse menu of small plates. If you go make sure you try the bacon wrapped dates and brussel sprouts!
Good for groups as they have a lot of seating. The skirt steak is delicious. The paella is packed with seafood but needs more rice to balance the dish as it was quite salty. Cash and amex only.
Probably my favorite restaurant in the city. Small plates of heaven with all kinds of influences. Even the wings are amazing. Order a bunch of dishes and share share share
The "Whole Shebang" was slightly overwhelming but it allowed us to have a taste of the entire menu. Hands down favorite was the Braised Short Rib with BeetPasta.
We are happy to accept reservations up to one month in advance. Call after 11 AM. ALL RESERVATIONS made M-S must be confirmed verbally on the day of the reservation by phone before 3 PM.
