Paulie has one of the best pizzas in New York. Try the Hellboy pizza, with spicy honey on it. But get there early and prepare yourself to wait for a while.

Best Artisan Pizza... You have to try the Hell Boy.. Ask the server for Hot Oil n drizzle it over your pizza before you eat it. Great selection of Vegan pizzas too.

Stacks up to best pizza in NYC. Perfect char on the pies. Vegan options including daiya cheese and excellent, housemade vegan sausage. The hot honey on the hellboy is great. Paulie makes u feel home.

Got lucky when I asked for a pizzeria reco while at Brouwerij Lane - they said go here. I've been to hundreds of pizza joints and this is one of the best. TONS of choice and great quality.

Don't even try to fool yourself into thinking you can take half home. Cherry jones and the Hellboy were amazing - although everything on the menu sounded inventive and delicious.

Tip revision: Skip the Hellboy. The sopressata has gone a little the way of dead animal butt. Get the Garden of Eden salad, Regina and Monte Cristo pizzas, and an Ommegang. Boom.

Owner Paul Giannone has a gift for great topping combos. My favorites are the Anise & Anephew and the Hellboy (hot soppressata & spicy honey). For brunch, the Monte Cristo is absolutely craveworthy. Mehr erfahren

1) Get something with the phenomenal hot honey -- the Hellboy is ideal. 2) Chat with the owner when he comes around. 3) Admire the quirky, intriguing space. 4) Scheme about how soon you can come back.

I lived in Italy and ate pizza all over the world. This is definitely one of the best. A must try!! Luca Brasi pizza for me is amazing.

Greenpoint's Roberta's (but better!). There will be a wait of 45 minutes+ though and the lobby will be crowded so after you put in your name, head up the block for a drink at Lulu's or Brouwerij Lane.

They have an entire vegan pizza menu! Pizzas are absolutely wonderful and affordable for a night out. Come early bc it gets packed quickly.

Agree with others, the Hellboy pizza is the best. Second is the King Harry Classic and if you like Bacon, well there's the Feel Like Bacon Love.

The wait for a table was long, but so worth it - best pizza I've had in my life. We had, and would highly recommend, the Hellboy and Anise & Anephew.

The Hellboy is amazing, but the Monte Cristo is my favorite. Get it. Also: the new Foursquare is terrible, and so is Swarm.

The Anise and Anephew is to die for. The In Ricotta Da Vita is like a farm, in your mouth! And Paulie Gee is seriously the nicest guy ever. I love this place.

Though I take issue with the ratio of crust (too much) to pizza toppings (not enough), it's quite good. Fun, lively space - expect to wait.

They have a lot of vegan options, including Daiya cheese and housemade vegan sausage. I eat cheese (fior di latte) but the vegan sausage was great, added it to my Regina pie (margarita).

Decent pizza-- not the best I've had in my life. The pizzas are pretty small for costing almost $20 each and leaving still slightly hungry. I'll stick to the classic NY $1 slice and be full. 👍🏻
