- Terminal 5 is great ! The concessions are way better here than many of the other terminals I have been.
- Gregg PullanoJuni 15, 2015Customs in terminal four are surprisingly fast, if you're a US citizen. It's a bigger hassle to cross into Canada or Mexico than arrive on a plane from another continent.
- Ihor KostivFebruar 17, 2022At the terminal 1 after security there is no much choice of food, make sure you have your favorites in advance (assuming it will pass security)
- New Fares mean that your total for Airtrain + one-way subway/bus metro ride (anywhere in NYC) ...is now $7.50. Short of a helicopter, this economic route is possibly your fastest bet during rush hours
- Rex TsaiOktober 22, 2017free wifi for only 30 minutes, limited tax-free shops. You can evan find birds in the waiting room.
- DaxFebruar 27, 2014If you're flying into the US, and have a connecting flight, make SURE you go to the area that says CONNECTING FLIGHTS otherwise they'll tell you to go thru gen pop security & you WILL MISS YOUR FLIGHT
- Free wifi through attwifi in some areas... It s akward to find it and it might take u a while to get connected but it works!
- Victor RodriguezAugust 26, 2014Global Entry is a life saver if you travel internationally a lot. Leave plenty of time between flight if coming in country through JFK
- Amanda ThauNovember 24, 2016Wow! The D terminal is phenomenal! Lots of places to shop and eat and very spacious!
- The airport is tolerable if you get here 3 hours before your flight with no sense of rush of the lines will make you lose your mind.
- The messages, food selection, touch screen ordering spots with outlets for your phone & ease of access to your flights.
- Tanya VNovember 13, 2018Domestic terminal has a lot of options to eat and shop. Very comfortable to move around.

- If you ask 3 random New Yorkers for help/directions and they dont help you, well then obviously your name is Peter.

- There are two shake shacks in terminal 4. One in the beginning and one towards the back. Best addition!
- Grab a bottle of water before you board so you don't have to wait for the hostess to take your empty cup and you have water whenever you want.
- There are two Shake Shacks in JFK in terminal 4. Shack shack serves breakfast as well as amazing burgers. 😁😁😁
- Check out the T5 rooftop near great 28 if you want to see some green. they even have a wooftop to walk your dog.
- Naily GApril 29, 2016Big and busy airport. Make a reservation for a town car with driver it's cheaper then a taxiride to the city
- By far my pick for flying in and out of NYC, especially if you live in parts of Brooklyn not called Williamsburg.
- Travel + LeisureJuly 30, 2012The JetBlue terminal has an unrivaled culinary monopoly. Deep Blue’s sushi menu is by Buddakan’s Michael Schulson, and Brasserie La Vie is run by former chefs at NYC hot spots Balthazar and Pastis.
- At Delta Terminal 4 all the good food options are at the end - Blue Smoke, Shake Shack and La Brea Bakery for good sandwiches and salads. Near gates 33 and 34.
- Aaron GelbmanFebruar 20, 2017Make sure that when you go from Long Island to JFK Airport you use Aaron Limousines Ltd for all your airport transportation needs!
- Jacob IsraelNovember 12, 2019Este aeropuerto es genial ! Esta gigante y pues aparte súper limpio ! Buenas ofertas 💕✌️
- Fly Virgin Atlantic when going to London - best Lounge by far
- I love this terminal. It's my favorite US Airways location in NYC. Have always had a great experience here. :)
- Things to know: it is in Queens, taxis have a flat fare to Manhattan, it's a big airport with a lot of terminals. Fly safe!
- Wifi gratis, acceso rápido en seguridad, miles de opciones para comer, Terminal 5 es un hit, Love it !!!
- Pedram YasharelOktober 15, 2018Take the train if you want a cheap way to get into the city in about the same time as a taxi.
- Christina LouiseMärz 16, 2020If you’re arriving in T5, order a Lyft to pick you up as they come right to the exit door. Way cheaper than an Uber.
- Müzeyyen AkyüzJuly 24, 2014Chep ticket adresses, JetBlue's office terminal was 5, so we decide walking around and eating dinner in Brooklyn and buy a ticket own website of Greyhound :) Airport was very very big :)
- LIRR to Jamaica Airtrain is a breeze. From Atlantic Terminal it's $6.25 off-peak and takes 15 minutes to arrive at Airtrain. $11.25 total including off peak and Airtrain price. Worth it.
- David IglesiasAugust 14, 2014Un poco desfadado para la ciudad. El metro es la manera mas barata y casi las mas rapida de ir a la ciudad. Haz escala en Jamaica y derecho a Manhattan.
- Marie La RueJanuar 27, 2019Somewhat efficient airport given its size. Long customs lines can be nightmarish if you’re a foreigner. JetBlue terminal has a nice layout and decent food options. Convenient access through Air Train.
- Robert HendersonJuly 30, 2018The queues before heading through the security searches can quite often be a bit intimidating and time consuming. Leave plenty time for this major obstacle.
- Joshua KerrJanuar 2, 2013Terminal 5 has great food options. Get sushi to go, I usually get a spicy crunchy salmon roll (off menu.)
- Michael HoldsworthJuni 26, 2016Not as bad as I'd heard it made out to be. Got through security fairly quickly and hassle free and a decent range of restaurants and shops on the other side.
- Tobias KemperSeptember 16, 2013Going to San Francisco? Check https://foursquare.com/tek/list/free-wifi--power-in-san-francisco for a list of places with free Wifi AND power outlets to work from in SF
- Jürgen KienerNovember 2, 2013Have a couple of hours to kill and don't have a ticket to go past security? Well, choose between free wifi (T4&5) OR a food court (T1). Both in the same place would have been too convenient, I guess.
- Hazar CandanApril 25, 2016Terminal 4 is incredibly dusty! They ask you to take shoes of and make you walk on naked foot at that dirty floor:)
- Convenient from the city, much closer than Newark and covers all top international destinations. Very functional airport
- Trisha BudhaiAugust 13, 2017Overwhelming with its size went through on transit from seattle to south Africa. Had to take an air train to the next terminal. Can't wait to actually visit New York
- To get to anywhere near 14th St., including the East Village and Union Square, take the AirTrain to Howard Beach, A to Broadway Junction, then L to Manhattan.
- Fly Jet Blue whenever possible and opt for Even More! It includes expedited security, early boarding and more leg room.
- Uli Tony BuenoOktober 20, 2013This is my home airport having logged over 1,000,000 miles on American Airlines it is always a pleasure to return home #AA #JFK. Give yourself plenty of time this is a busy airport
- Love the new American terminal. Be careful to get to the gate ten minutes before takeoff. I didn't do that today and added many hours to an already long day
