Buy tickets in advance to avoid the line. Great collection of Van Gogh's art and the history of his life. Starry night is not here - painting is located in MoMA in New York.

This was my favorite part of my trip to Amsterdam. Get the audio guide and make sure that you have enough time to stop by the museum's store before it closes

the absolute best time to go is on friday evenings when it is less crowded w music playing, a wine bar downstairs and an interactive video installation playing...fantastic

Absolutely beautiful museum. A lot of focus is on Van Gogh's process, how he painted over canvasses, on top of other paintings; you can literally view his brushstrokes under a microscope! loved it.

Take audio guide. If you own a museumkaart or go with a group, you can enter in a special entrance (ask staffs for location). You can save tones of time by avoiding long queuing line.

Huge exhibition with lots of info about Gogh and also exhibiting other artists that inspired, or were inspired by, him. The museum also has a letter collection which gives an insight into his life.

Amazing place. Very interesting painting workshop with profesional and kind artist. You can pick your picture to home. Really good distribution in general. Sadly I must leave before the concerts.

Well, my wife loved this place. Definitely take the audio guide since it will tell you all these crazy stories about Van Gogh and his paintings which are awesome btw

Great museum! I loved how everything was organized and related to each other. I'll definitely recommend this museum. You might want to first visit the lower floor for a short documentary on his life.

Don't come if you're trying to cram it into a packed day, it's easy to spend 3+ hours in here, it's so wonderful. I recommend checking out the bookstore at the top of the museum!

Worth getting the audio guide to immerse yourself fully into the works of arts presented or you'll spend half the time wandering around clueless.

Exceptional collection; really well laid out museum. Working through Van Gogh's art chronologically alongside the narrative of his life was incredibly helpful. Must visit.

“Amsterdam’a gelip, Van Gogh Müzesi’ne gidilmez mi”, ithamlarından kurtulmak için gittik. Bu kadar sanat bize fazla. 18 yaşından küçüklere giriş ücretsiz. Ocak ayında hiç sıra beklemeden girdik.

Great collection of Van Gogh's masterpieces. Very recommended to read comments near each one, to get the most of it. Taking photos is not permitted. There is free and fast Wifi connection.

VERY crowded, try to hit early if you want an up close view of the art. Get the museumkaart if you plan on hitting all museums in this area and almost anything else in Amsterdam that requires a ticket

There is a bookstore downstairs where you can find an amazing Sale of Art Books - 5 Euros Each. Stock is limited -I bought 2 - so hurry up ;)

A little pricey to get in but well worth it if you're a fan of Van Gogh. This museum allows you to see the progression of his color palette and techniques over his life.

Get the audio guide and book a time in advance; this is one of my favorite museums because it takes you through the evolution of Van Gogh's life as painter rather than individual, unrelated paintings

Van Gogh's life and paintings in one place (I mean those that aren't in other museums). Loved it, do not miss it when you are in Amsterdam. Buy tickets online.

It's open until 10:00PM on Friday but gift shop is open until 9:30PM. You cannot take any photos in the museum, which is fine. The Armin Van Buren guide is interesting, try it!

An e-ticket bought on the museum's website👆 allows fast-lane entrance, but only at specified available time and date (usually next day). Better get this one or queue for 2 hrs with any other ticket🙈

Anyone who doesn't know much about art should visit this place, you'll appreciate some of these pieces of art. The free wifi is an added bonus. Also the souvenir store ships world wide

Tappa obbligatoria ad Amsterdam. Museo molto grande su tre piani con percorso cronologico sulla vita e il lavoro dell'artista. Prendete l'audioguida, ne vale la pena.

Билеты стоит купить заранее онлайн. Лучше всего на утреннее время, когда ещё не много посетителей. Очень классный музей! Много табличек с описанием картин (на англ). Есть работы других художников.

La mejor opción es comprar los boletos por internet, pues la fila para comprarlos ahí suele ser muy larga. Vale la pena pagar 5€ extra por la audio guía!!!

Had to queue for 2 hrs with a ticket purchased online at the Canal Tour company's site 😁 along with all other ticket holders just to realize that the ticket on iPad won't be accepted, need print out!

This museum houses the world’s largest Van Gogh art collection. A must see when you visit Amsterdam. I personally like his way of painting landscapes.

Really well laid out exhibit, really glad I didn't miss this one. The line for tickets is long, but if you have the museum pass I think you can skip it.
