- KatieAugust 3, 2013Well worth the wait (which can be up to two hours). Service is fast and EVERYTHING on the menu is good.
- Mikahla VicinoJanuar 19, 2015Not for groups larger than four. Great positive atmosphere. Incredible ramen.
- Greg SolomonJanuar 4, 2014So. Yeah I do prefer ippudo. That said the poached egg delivery is great. And it is among the better ramen I've had.
- Margarita KrupOktober 7, 2014The ramen!! Add the spicy sauce for some extra kick. Get the spicy ramen with an egg.
- Elizabeth IrizSeptember 12, 2014Head their solo and skip the wait. You'll be digging into a bowl of tasty ramen before you know it!
- Raj S.Oktober 5, 2011Absolutely incredible. Small place, but great food. Grab the extra spicy ramen. Not for the fainthearted. A little expensive, but well worth it.
- Liz CargillOktober 18, 2015Very quick serving! The place is sooo small, so quick turnaround is expected. You'll receive the bill half way through your ramen however!
- Amaury TouchyourTrililiJuni 17, 2017Great ramen. Expect to wait outside cause pretty long line in the weekend. Cash only.
- MaryDezember 4, 2012Brush up on your Japanese and bring your appetite! The ramen is amazing but don't forget about the awesome pork buns.
- Time Out New YorkSeptember 13, 2010At this small organic noodle-soup joint there are three types of noodles, each paired with a different broth: miso, paitan (creamy chicken) and shoyu (soy-sauce based).
- EchoDAMärz 7, 2012The place is tiny, but it's absolutely worth the wait! Eating at the bar in front of the chefs is great, and ramen is delicious!
- Make sure to try the Uni Don or a Char Siu Mayo Don otherwise the Spicy Totto Ramen is my favorite, especially on a chilly night.
- Katy FiveApril 7, 2011This is my favorite ramen, added corn this time and loved it! Definitely worth the wait! Remember it's cash only and you can't get anything to go.
- Sof A OtMai 25, 2017Muy rico !!! Porciones muy grandes !! Excelente servicio, un concepto diferente.
- Chee Wai WongNovember 28, 2017Extremely long queue - like minimum 30 mins to an hour. Given that I’m a huge ramen lover and have tried lots - I’d say this is decent but certainly not worth the hype. Would I be back? Don’t think so
- Zac SniderOktober 6, 2014They were playing slipknot, so that's kind of cool I guess. The ramen was good, I'm not sure it lived up to the reputation though.
- Angela DanilaNovember 22, 2013Extra spicy ramen is soooo good! and i just realized their playlist is also really cool. good job japanese :-)
- James TongAugust 6, 2014Go to the new 51st street location. Less wait time and more spacious. Same great tasting noodles.
- Rob KischukDezember 17, 2014Very good spicy ramen, but I have to imagine the 2 other locations nearby have a shorter wait
- @HungryEditor Ben SetiawanSeptember 2, 2011If you're going for lunch, arrive by 11:45am to put your name on the list. They don't officially open till noon, but there's usually a line of fans patiently waiting.
- jon nguyenMai 20, 2013Try the Seared Sea Urchin - UNIIIIII....nuff said...all i need to wash down that bowl of delicious ramen
- Isabela SchlupNovember 1, 2015Fantástico! Local simples com filas grandes, mas a comida vale muito a pena !
- theSusyness .Oktober 19, 2012Come before they open (noon). Trying to eat here for dinner is a guaranteed 2+ hour wait.
- ThrillistJuni 27, 2010This spot's chicken-or-pork ramen's made with Japan-sourced ingredients including a secret "spicy oil" called Rayu, traditionally used to kick up cuts of M Bison. Mehr erfahren
- Try to get a seat at the bar - the chefs are super friendly and talkative. Ask them what's inside the secret white pouch.
- For a healthy meal, order the vegetable ramen and add chicken on top.
- Pranjal GuptaNovember 30, 2016The best ramen place in NYC for me. Miso Ramen and Pork buns are to die for. :)
- Julius TarngMärz 30, 2013Put your name down and go around the corner to kahve. One column of names takes approx 30 min on Saturday afternoon
- Minji SonAugust 23, 2015Go to the second location on 51st btw 9&10th ave- there are always more availability- 👍
- The place is tiny, so don't go in large groups (2-4 people is ideal). There's almost always a wait time of 30 minutes or more, but it's so totally worth it.
- Mario de matosDezember 12, 2015Among the top 3 places for Ramen in the city and they open until late
- Go for the extreme spicy ramen. Their new spicy miso is very good.
- ドーラMärz 7, 2011Needless to say, one of the best places in Midtown to get yummylicious ramen! If you haven't been here, you don't know how tasty ramen can be.
- Erica ChoiDezember 26, 2013Super long waits and really disorganize waiting system, but ramen is delicious. Not sure if it's worth the 1.5 hour wait in the freezing cold tho. They also commented about our reasonable tip. Rude!
- Kartik DasJuni 7, 2013The totto spicy ramen with pork was really good, could be spicier, but definitely full of flavor!
- Noah MAugust 15, 2011Amazing ramen spot in Hell's Kitchen. This place is the real deal. Tiny space + high demand = expect to wait outside for a while.
- Eric NovelloNovember 21, 2011This place is stellar! Be patient for your seat, get the avo to start , and enjoy some thoroughly awesome ramen
- Rie KuzumotoJuni 24, 2012Their original chicken broth was very good. Lively and friendly. Inexpensive.
- Angela WangelaJanuar 5, 2011We both like the chicken ramen best. The miso ramen tastes too fermented/winey. If you do get miso, don't mix in the whole ball of miso - too rich!
- Mandar MDezember 3, 2013Dance to Japanese pop music as you blow your nose and chomp down that extra spicy ramen :) yum yum dance .. Domo arigato !
