As a gringo cook working the line here, I've come to know and love Filipino food. The pork adobo is a personal favorite, but if you're coming with a group, be sure to start with one of the sisigs.

We ordered a Pork Adobo & Kare Kare and ate it all, though in hindsight we really should have invited 2 more people to help us... Love the big portions and flavors!! Service is very sweet too.

When you’re in an adventurous mood, give the traditional sizzling sisig dish a try. (Shh, it’s chopped pig ears, belly and snout with an egg on top, but it’s tasty. We promise.) Mehr erfahren

Dasilog was good and yes it is a little expensive but it is located in the city so it was definitely expected. The decor & the old school music they were playing was definitely a plus in my book! 👌

Highly recommend it. The drinks and the food were superb & it has one of the best waiting staff in NY. We ate: lumpiang barquillos, chicken and waffles and bistek with garlic rice. Perfection.

Service is friendly and fast. Try the appetizer for brunch. A must try if you're looking to break the mold of traditional NYC brunch. The absinthe spray drink is also a force to be reckoned with.

The chicken and waffles are awesome, but the longsilog is amazing. Protip: use the vinegar, Filipino food is a bit heavier and the vinegar balances the flavor.
