    There are so many great classics to have at my midtown bistro, from the tarte flambée to the escargots fricassée and of course the decadent DB Burger! Perfect for a quick lunch or pre-theater meal.

    Still going strong. This bistro offers excellent renditions of French classics plus their upmarket version of hamburger (with foie gras). Their evening set courses are excellent value.

    I had the theater prix fix and it was great! The pate was good but the sea bass was elegant! The dessert takes you to joy land!

    Everybody seems to advocate for the burger - but also try the coq-au-vin, the spicy cod with chorizo and vegetables, or the fois gras... yummm! Great wine selection - try Austrian Gruener Veltliner.

    This restaurant is a great experience. Excellent Service. Steak Frites & Scallops were outstanding. Pretzel bread was great & calamari special appetizer was also great.

    Solid location, questionable brunch. I grabbed a pre theater weekend reservation for a family brunch. While the tiny madeleines made a bright end of the meal, the famous foie burger is disappointing.

    Plating of dishes is beautiful, the beets and dessert was great. Duck confit was way too salty for my taste, good drinks! Very nice staff

    Pâté de Maison, duck confit, Mrs. Brevard cocktail, lamb tagine. Almost everything is very good. I have yet to experience something that was bad.

    If you like attentive service then you'll appreciate db bistro moderne. Do this: Skip the foie gras burger and save yourself the disappointment. There are many fine menu choices & a superb wine list

    Daniel Boulud's the most casual restaurant has many of americanized menus. Duck confit was great.

    Try the legumes rotis - Awesome presentation. They used dried black olive bits as "soil" for the veggie garden in the bowl. Get without cheese to be #vegan

    The Original Db burger is over rated. Thick patty stuffed with braised short rib & foie on the inside - turned out to be dry and rather tasteless.

    The perfect spot for a pre-theater dinner. One should note that their famous db burger, complete with fois gras, is overrated and not worth the $32.

    I can't recommend breakfast here. Coffee is great, very dark, but food is surprisingly ordinary. You'll pay $25 for three small pieces of soggy French toast or $22 for a bowl of oatmeal w/ berries.

    Their burgers are a foie-gras and red wine-braised short rib-stuffed creation served on a parmesan roll. It was a sandwhich created on a lark that instantly became the restaurant's signiture dish.
