My favorite favorite bookstore - the staff has little databases of the best books ever implanted in their brains. Give them a list of your favorite three books and they can recommend the fourth.

Extensive but not overwhelming selection of books in a low-key, friendly atmosphere. You're almost guaranteed to find a good new author or cool book on the shelves here.
