San Francisco has a consistent style of Italian food among it's many great Italian restaurants but Beretta is probably my favorite. I like the cocktails, meatballs and spicy Italian sausage pizza.

The Independent is one of San Francisco's treasures. You get to see great bands before they're big, the venue is the perfect size and you won't find any screaming teens.
If you have a car, be sure to head up to Twin Peaks Summit on a sunny day for panorama views of the city. And the drive up is just as enjoyable as the view.
Ride your bike across the bridge to Sausalito and then come here to sit outside, drink beer and eat amazing wood oven pizzas (the fennel sausage is my fav). Then just catch the ferry back home.
