The food court is pretty good in the departure area. There is a good bar on the way to Gate E

Things are expensive here and if you have a stop over somewhere else in Europe buy your Swiss chocolate (Lind...) there except Sprüngli. You will save up to 35%

Пассажиры, летящие в Цюрих рейсами Свисс, не берите нож из самолета, на досмотре сразу после рейса есть досмотр с просвечиванием. Вилку и ложку потом правда отдаютс с улыбкой. :-) А вот нож нет.

Only one hour free wifi. Food is quite pricey. Love the mooing cow yodeling train. You can leave customs to ride it then re-enter.

make sure you don’t mix up your boarding time with departure time if transferring. I ended up going to the E terminal when I should have gone to D, almost missed my flight.

Fly Swiss? Grab your ticket at check-in 3. You'll be served by friendly humans and it's even faster than queuing at the check-in machines in 1.

Просите водку безо льда. Они столько льда кладут... Жуть.. И Швеппс биттер лемон! У них он с мякотью ( как ни смешно это звучит). В Рашке биттер лемон не такой.

Very typical airport. Quite antiseptic which is good for an airport. Not much to do here but wait for your flight. If you happen in at the wrong time even the shops are all closed.

There is a mastercard free wifi spot right before the gates ABE. You dont have to pay and there are nice couches. Thank u mastercard!!

Don't take a cab to the city center, it's a rip off. You can buy reasonably priced public transport tickets and not get stuck in traffic. The airport is superbly communicated. (24h ticket =12 CHF)

The "lounge" in the "E" gates area is not a Star Alliance lounge. If you have several hours and are Star Gold use the Swiss Senator or Business lounge near the "A" gates.
