Stop at the 1st or 2nd pullout up the Morin Headlands. Both offer stunning views and photo opportunities of the Golden Gate Bridge and surrounding landscape.
While in the park, stop by the observatory tower for 360 views of San Francisco. It's free and normally not a line- though the line to the special exhibits might block the entryway.
The Ferry Building is very popular, and I recommend it to anyone who is visiting San Francisco. They've got great restaurants (Slanted Door, MarketBar) and a morning farmer's market a few times a week
It's more american than apple pie but that doesn't make it any less glamorous! Fear the beard and root on the Giants tonight by the Bay in one of the most beautiful ballparks in the world.
