The vegetarian Borscht is amazing. Get it if you're under the weather or just want to eat something comforting.
Decent enough food, TERRIBLE service. Appreciate that it's 24hrs, but waited once FOREVER to get service. I even put my head down and fell deep asleep until other customers complained about my snoring

Open 24 hours! Pierogi with sour cream is a must.
get: two eggs over-medium, kielbasa, and a potato pancake. with applesauce and sour cream. plus coffee. eat at counter.
Can't go wrong with huge plate of pierogis!

Open 24 hours. Try the borscht for an experience and the cheese-filled pierogies.
Fun fact: Velselka is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week because they're afraid the baby might come to life if they turn off the lights.
Get the borscht. It's the best in the city - even better then your grandmother's.
