    This place has 2 things unusual to DC bars: carpet on the floor and zero pretense. (Chicken fingers ain't bad either.) Best dive bar in the neighborhood, one of my favorites in the city.

    Buffalo chicken dip can't be beat. Also pulled pork is bomb. Ditto mini lamb burgers. And afternoon bartender Kathy rocks my effin world!

    If you want Buffalo Wings (and you should), tell them you want the appetizer, which in on a placard instead of the main restaurant menu. The wings on the main menu are not as spicy.

    Dirty glass? This is a great spot for a beer - classic pub atmosphere. Bring a newspaper and post up by the window.

    Just come here and drink all day on Wed. Sam Adams is a BEER, not a Libertarian damn it! And Post Pub celebrates this with an 11:30-3 Sam special on Wed.
