It's a decent club! Cleaner than other reviewers claim it to be, and filled with staff who are mostly friendly. While some of the equipment could use a facelift, I do enjoy working out here!
SK Energy Tip: Try keeping your heels on the floor when you squat, if you can’t, your hip flexors are probably too tight. Stretch them by kneeling in a lunge position and pushing your pelvis forward.
Built back when these clubs were rarer and more expensive, it still shows here in spite of the wear and tear. Small locker rooms for such a big building.
Sports conditioning mon at 730 pm and sat at 930am are by far the most challenging classes at NYSC. Ari is no joke, but if you stick w it you'll get in great shape

Customer service non existent; they are eager to sign you but even if you don't have a contract trying to cancel next to impossible. Then the will play a blame game between there store and corporate
Very unprofessional service. The front desk constantly lies about the whereabouts of a manager. This is month 2 of me trying to close my account. Highly recommend going somewhere else.
CardioJam with Kendra on Tuesday night is awesome! It's basically a hip hopdanceclass that any level dancer/exercise buff can enjoy. Kendra is a great teacher and choreographer!
While the desk people were busy being rude to me, another person came by to tell them the shower's leaking. The locker room smells. Lots of nice cardio equipment.
5 mins of entering, the smell is so bad. The manager (Marco) won't let me redeem a Groupon deal unless I hv a print-out. Call another NYSC right away and they hv no problem unlike this place.
Here's my tip....."DO NOT WORKOUT AT NY SPORTS CLUB ON AUSTIN ST FOREST HILL". I'm a former member and the men's locker room is always filthy dirty and stinks. The management are rude and unfriendly.
