Tolle Statuen und atemberaubende Mosaike. Das Museeumskaffee ist allerdings eine sehr triste Angelegenheit.

Must visit if you also plan to do Pompeii ruins. Amazing mosaics and historical references. Don't miss the basement section past the Egyptian portion for more interesting Pompeii history.

If you plan going to Pompeii or Ercolano visit this museum first - the best items from the excavations. Many boring items though, skip some halls. The "secret" room with porn frescoes is really funny.

O Museu Arqueológico é uma visita obrigatória em Nápoles. A parte relacionada a Pompéia é incrível, principalmente pela beleza e riqueza dos mosaicos, estátuas e como era o dia-a-dia dos habitante.

Лучший археологический музей Европы (а видено многое ;)) Сюда утащили: лучшие фрески из Помпей, лучшие мозаики оттуда же и из Геркуланума; лучшие скульптуры из терм Каракалла и т.д. Бык Фарнезе - !!!

For English speakers there are plenty of translations (so you don't need the audio guide). The diorama of Pompeii is excellent - but best viewed after you've been there

Worth seeing museum, big and spacious enough, you have to sit for about 2 hours to see all the collections preserved from the pompei ruins and more! No discount for the students :(

Secret cabinet and mosaics (1st floor) and frescoes (2nd floor) from Pompeii are worthy of a short visit (~1h). There's a free WiFi. You can leave only backpacks in the garderobe 🙁

The ticket is quite expensive 9€ for students, 13€ normal, but it deserve to understand better the history of Pompei/Herculaneum. You need a couple of hours to see the entire collection.
