From Tasting Table: try the mool neng-myun, chewy arrowroot noodles swimming in an icy beef broth, topped with a boiled egg, marinated radishes, fresh Asian pears and sesame seeds.
this place is super legit. it's a contender for best Korean food in Manhattan. if you like seafood, try the Haemul Jeongol. it comes with a whole octopus.
Very clean and friendly. Being Korean and having tried almost every Korean restaurant in New York and Queens, this place is just okay. Comparatively, the portions and variety of the sides are meager.
Bust the summer heat with naengmyeon, a coil of fine buckwheat noodles in an iced broth of beef stock and dongchimi (radish water with kimchi). Make sure to toss in plenty of hot mustard and vinegar.
Long wait for a seat, a waiter with a bad attitude who did not seem to understand our order in either Korean or English, then another very long wait for food...Delicious, but I'll not be going again.
