This is the original location for Cooper's. Order your meat straight off the pit! Get it sauced! The jalapeñomac n cheese is amazing! Ranked as one of the best in Texas for a reason.
This is a classic roadside BBQ spot where you walk up & point to what you want straight from the pit outside. Everything is delicious, but try the turkey. Don't forget side of beans (for free) inside.
We never miss going to the original Coopers in Llano. People from all over Texas go out of their way to eat here. The only negative is that it can cost too much.
Thrillist Top BBQ List: Legendary spot cooks their meat "cowboy-style" over coals, before finishing it in smoke-filled pit. Try that pepper and salt flecked pork goodness.
Meat's cooked outside over giant pits of oak wood embers, sending flavorful smoke all over the small HillCountrytown. Choose from beef brisket, ribs, pork shoulders or even goatMehr erfahren
Turkey, chicken, pork chop were all outstanding. If you have had great ribs else where skip the ribs and go with a ribeye or brisket. The cole slaw is awesome.
We travel a lot through Tx just to try BBQ, well this place is on our Bottom list, brisket is not TX cooked taste like its boiled cause there is not a single "smoke" flavor, BBQ sauce-taste vinegar
Inman's may have good food but prices are more then what you get. Cooper's always gives you the right amount of food for the price they have. COOPER'S IS AMAZIN!!
Not as good as advertised. Ordering system is a ripoff, can't see priced and butcher gives you more than you order and price goes up. Spent $87 for crappy food. Best on menu is cobbler and sweet tea.
