Ueno-San's diamond ice is pretty cool to watch. The bar tenders are multicultural and staff speak excellent English. The cocktails don't disappoint, give them flavours and they will work their magic!
Their banana and rum milkshake was to die for! But expensive. Quite a fancier quieter bar with prices to match. Nice service and good English from the staff!
Lots of food to try so skip lunch! Watch out for more expensive prices on items and gifts as its a popular tourist spot. Love this market - find the spicy powder and thank me later!
My favourite temple in Kyoto, maybe even Japan. Currently undergoing restoration so the beautiful photo worthy shot is a bit marred, still a lovely walk with scenery, temples and shopping strip.
Nice shopping strip leading up to the temple, you can dress up in traditional yukata for nice photos. Temple itself is under construction so you couldn't see inside but still a nice wander in the area
Takoyaki that you can dress yourself with as much or as little condiment as you want. Nice and creamy and served immediately. Love it

Nice sushi and sashimi but nothing to rave about, you can probably get just as good for cheaper around the market. The wait isn't very long though which is good.
My favourite place in the world. 15 storeys of stationary goodness, and tax free available! They have a whole floor dedicated to ink pens.
Definitely get the lobster roll. I preferred shrimp over crab. It's pricy and there will be a queue. But surprisingly fresh and quite tasty given the lobster is from Maine.
It's true, pan fried is better. Thin skinned succulent meat filling. Try the cucumber and the bean sprouts with meat sauce. Worth the queue.

Amazing tasty broth with noodles that are firm and great to absorb the full flavour of the broth. The machine where you order is in japanese but the servers will assist. Try the "lot" and "spicy".

fat cow donburri is better than then foie gras donburri. Aim for each mouthful to contain a cube of Wagyu and foie gras, otherwise the rice and meat is quite plain - the taste is in the foie gras.
Still really good chicken rice. Prices going up slowly over the years, but the queues still tell the truth.
Fkn siq drinks and amazing bar food. Everything is served to be eaten with your hands. Amazing tastes. Definitely check this bar out.
