The menu at Urban Tavern has alot of fresh california cuisine choices and a hip urban comfy interior...surprising for a hotel restaurant. The Estates Group loves to lunch here when downtown SF.

The meatloaf sliders are DELICIOUS! Make sure you try them! Free corkage on Monday nights as of October '10. Major bonus points for the interior's clean minimalist presentation with great accents.

The tender pork with vegetables and red wine sauce was great ($25) but the lamb chomps were just average ($29). *The coffee was good ($5).

I wanted to like this place. The ambiance was great, service was friendly (a bit slow, but it was Christmas), but the burger looks a lot better than it tastes. Super greasy, not flavorful—and $19.

If you want a low carb meal, try the sea scallops with extra parsnips purée. Very delicious.

They REALLY do not like accommodating separate checks here... If you are in a group, just sit at the long table and pretend like you don't know each other! ;)

Pretty cool atmosphere. Owned by the Hilton next door so the food is a little pricey. Worth checking out for a beer or two.

This place is excellent. All organic and local grown. Ask for Kimberly, great service and know the menu.

Food was good - at breakfast though the staff are really rude, especially the ones setting you - sort it out (and make sure they speak English well)
