This is my favorite restaurant in Houston. The only problem with it is that it is not open during the evenings or weekends. PLEASE EXTEND TOUR HOURS. This place is the best other than that...

One of my favorites downtown lunch spots. All the cajun dishes are good. I love the spinach salad and chicken soup. Great healthy option

Treebeards has downtown covered. In addition to the Market Square flagship, there's a Treebeards at The Cloister at Christ Church Cathedral and a tunnel locations at the 1100 Louisiana building.

Great place to have lunch. The fruit is fresh and served with a mint leaf! Southern fare. Friendly staff.

Lunch here is packed, but they move you along quickly. Try the Chicken Fried Steak w/gravy - it's actually not greasy. Avoid meatloaf and mashed potatoes - very bland.
