"興興 #31 ondeh ondeh and tapioca cake. They have light, wobbly bodies. Gula melaka and pandan flavours come through in the ondeh ondeh, but the tapioca cake and shredded coconut topping are a bit bland."

"Peanut soup #57. The soup is only slightly sweetened, so it is refreshing, not filling. The 湯圓 glutinous rice balls are very fine - chewy but not sticky dough, fragrant ground roasted peanut inside."

"Tai Seng Turtle Soup #59. A survivor of old tradition. But for how long? Most people have no place for a bowl of $11 soup. At least there are no queues here, unlike the $2.50 porridge place."
