Brianna GoodmanJuly 27, 2013The Flying Tomato, no matter what you get on it, is the best pizza in the area. Service is usually slow (regardless of busyness) so don't go there in a pinch... but it's worth it if you have the time.
This is a staple restaurant for my family and I to gather at. We bring visiting relatives here because it is so unique, no other place like it in Iowa.

Kelen EddyNovember 24, 2009Go to Wig & Pen and order their deep dish pizza, or their flying tomato pizza. By far the best pizza in Iowa City.
The pizzas are great but the Wigatoni is what I come for.
