We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay here for Thanksgiving. It's a family friendly hotel and we stayed in a suite. Walking distance from almost everything in downtown DC and the gorgeous waterfront.

KitchenboyOktober 25, 2010The restaurant of the River Inn is called Dish. We were taken there by friend who lived near. The staff - friendly, food very good and the wine list very nice. Convenient for Kennedy Center events.

Old building which remains clean with nice personnel. Rooms are big for a close-to-center hotel
They have complimentary bikes & helmets to ride around the Mall! It's also only 2-3 blocks from George Washington University Hospital & they offer a hospital discount.

Shockingly nice rooms, and the staff goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful.
