Super famous LA spot where Judy Garland and the rest of the cast used to grab drinks while filming The Wizard of Oz down the road. Stop in for a cocktail and enjoy. (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Mehr erfahren
Close to the original MGM studios, this still elegant brick hotel in downtown Culver City was the part-time home of Keaton, Fairbanks and Garbo. Laurel and Hardy shot here, as did the little Rascals.
This is a really cool place...old, historical...lots of character. That means the fitness room is sort of a joke - a treadmill and a bike with some dumbells. Still a nice place though.
Culver City is in its Renaissance. This is one of its sparkling little gems for a cocktail rendezvous! A fantastic history follows this place~see if you can get the walls to talk & tell some secrets!
Nice bar and lounge environment without the crowds... order a sapphire martini up/olives and find a couch to kick it. gaze out at the glitterati and imagine the Lollipop Guild munchkins in force Mehr erfahren
LA: The jewel of Culver City. The Mayor of Munchkin City stayed here while filming the Wizard of Oz and his tiny cohorts had quite the party before dancing down the yellow brickroad. -IFC Viewer
Cool interior but steak was spendy, not cooked as ordered and not flavorful or interesting. Beer was also overpriced and served in smallish flutes. Service horrendously slow and inattentive.
