They do not have The Weather Channel, but have 5 sports channels and 5 news channels. Yeah, that makes perfect sense!
Going downhill - ice cream bar now consists of pre-packaged vanilla, chocolate & strawberry. Hot bar food is luke warm, sushi lacks meat (large veggie selection).

Prices have gone UP, portion size has gone DOWN. Still love the Red Jacket Ale though. Darn shame the owner sold out.
Lunch buffet is back M-F 11-2pm. However the pizza is very bland and needs the crushed red pepper to give the slices ANY flavor.

The jerk chicken is grilled behind the restaurant and very flavorful. Get the plantains as a side if the spice is too much to handle. Their baked Mac n Cheese is the bomb!
Avocado salsa with the plantain & yucca chips was very good. Service was not. Had the ribeye special which consisted of three butterflied shrimp & a grilled scallop for an extra $10 vs the regular one
Steaks: good, but pricey. Atmosphere: classy. Desserts made table side: tasty. Downsides: Rolls hard as a brick & dinner for 4 with one appetizer, 4 desserts & tea or coke before tip: $210.
Their sign boats "Authentic Mexican". LOL - the only thing authentic here is the undocumented workers. Same Americanized Mexican menu.
After staying here twice, I knew I had to change hotels and now stay at the Country Inn & Suites two doors down. Better rates, remodeled rooms & better food. HHonors Gold member too.
