A great Wisconsin staple. Martini selection and expertise, superb. Steaks as they should be. Low key atmosphere. You can whisper your secrets. Go here or miss out.

Best steaks in the Midwest for a reason- yum! Love the relish plate. Pricey, but you get SO much food that you get your money's worth!

Loved this place. I will definitely go back. The atmosphere, staff and food were great. I highly recommend the Journalist martini and the filet mignon.

Their takeaway for restaurant week 2020 was top notch! The steak tips and pork tenderloins were so tasty!

Smoky's has the old school supper club atmosphere that I remember as a child growing up in NE WI. The filet mignon is fantastic (melts in your mouth).

The Journalist cocktail is surprisingly full of win. Astringent gin with a citric note of lime and triple sec and just a hint of sweetness to cut the dry. Very adult and very refreshing.
