- Jun NishimuraJuly 4, 2011Always anticipate long lines at the check-in area. You may easily spend 20 minutes
- No matter what airline your fly, make sure you're at the gate 45 minutes to an hour prior to departure. Doors close 10 minutes prior to departure. Airplanes don't wait for you, YOU wait for airplanes.
- Evan WoockSeptember 3, 2011Grab a bloody mary before you jump on your flight. It's the only way to fly.
- Welcome to SJC, where you will always wait on the tarmac when you land.
- This airport has great food choices! However, the need a people mover!
- Let’s try and build the longest skinniest airport!
- Bryan LMärz 17, 2012Don't second guess Sushi Boat. It's good sushi (in spite of its airport location).
- Nick SandovalDezember 28, 2011Don't be a dick. Don't put your purses and jackets in the overhead compartment. Be curtious.
- Emilio MartínezDezember 30, 2014The main advantage of this airport is that there's no lines compared to SFO
- Keith QuebodeauxAugust 16, 2013Don't eat at the Gordon Biersch in the terminal. Gave me wrong sandwich and then gave it to a guy down the bar AFTER I ate two home fries and touched the sandwich. Bfast sandwich almost inedible.
- Jane CloveFebruar 4, 2011If you find me ... give out a shout ... We can take a photo together as I start my trip. I'm a spicy kind of gal. #visitgilroy
- Rupert BarksfieldAugust 24, 2011Be aware this place looks like the set of a sitcom, and has the the background music to match!
- Jeremy LiJanuar 20, 2014It's a place where airplanes land and take off. Also, the US Airway app sucks, don't even bother trying.
- Don't fly here. The men's room south of gate 25 always smells of piss and is frequently closed. Seen multiple visits over years. It's like they can't be bothered.
- Careful with the USB charging ports. Many are filled with gunk and food and often do not work.
- The cleanest bathroom is at the car rental area.
- Kevin D.Juni 4, 2013Flying often for business can be a burden. But not @ SJC. This airport is hardly ever crowded. It's seriously the easiest flight from or to San Jose.
- Brooke WoolfsonNovember 7, 2010It's one long hallway with no shortcuts, so be sure to leave enough time to get from one end to the other if you're making a connection.
- Dave SilverstoneDezember 20, 2011They've really improved this airport in the past few years... Facilities are now top-notch for a mid-sized airport.
- Ruby Tuesday has good TVs flying to watch games while waiting your flight.
- Mary Anne GroenJuni 26, 2011Bring sheet music- they have a public baby grand piano available to play!
- Look for one of the power seats with 3-prong plugs and a USB port.
- Alex GarciaJuni 8, 2013Overrated airport if you ask me. No TSA PreCheck, few shops, no lounge, long walks. Food options are okay though, and this is probably easier for the casual, infrequent flier.
- I love the "executive seats" with power plugs for laptops. I think only Southwest offers them.
- Airport has a Clear lane for security. Sign up and register to fast track through security
- Time to go back home, just waiting for the aircraft to arrive.
- Gotta love traveling on Thanksgiving! Even quiet SJC is a train wreck
- Tariq AhmadJuly 15, 2011In Southwest terminal, they have large leather chairs with electrical plug-ins.
- Make sure you carry lots of traveling insurance from G1G Travel Insurance
- If we all have designated positions in line, I'm not sure why anyone is standing in line when the plane hasn't even arrived yet.
- Beer geeks: The Brit in Terminal B has Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA!
