The best place to buy fresh fish in London. The selection is unequaled and the prices brilliant. You do have to get there before 6am though. The "greasy spoon" does bacon and scallop rolls, wow.
$5 dollar shakes - with Jack Daniel's if you ask for it, pretty fine burgers and blow your head off chilli. Best feature though is the decor which is a fun Americana (but not Ed's).
Many won't agree, but I reckon this is one of the best restaurants in London. Best deal is the huge plate of Ho Fun noodles for about £7. Sociable beer hall type seating and super grumpy staff. Enjoy!
Haven't been here yet but the Evening Standard voted it one of the best in London. Proper kebabs and white table clothes seems to sum it up pretty well. Will update when we've been.
Haven't been here either. However the Evening Standard gave it good reviews and it looks great if you're on a budget. Plus, plenty of nice pubs in the area for pre/post-drinks.
This is a pub, on a boat! It hasn't got the best bar in London by any stretch, but it is an enjoyable experience. Downstairs they have huge windows which mean you can look over the Thames in the warm.
One of the best selection of beers in London. Also a nice place and not too expensive. It can get quite busy but it's never rowdy.
Perhaps not the "funnest" place in London, but a wicked selection of English ciders at very cheap prices in a unique and tiny establishment. Usually less crowded than the Euston Tap across the road.
Great selection of powerful ales and lagers. Pretty fun crowd as well. Not too Camdenisn.
