Great Rembrandt collection, if you have time - have a look at less popular works of Dutch artists - you will be surprised with the style and technique. The hall with dolls' houses is a must visit.

The Rijksmuseum is dedicated to art en history. It's also the largest art and most visited museum of the Netherlands. You will find masterpieces of Rembrandt, Frans Hals and Johannes Vermeer in here.

Vá com calma para aproveitar o máximo possível. A parte externa já é bem bonita, os jardins, a arquitetura... no inverno é possível patinar no gelo com vista para o museu imponente.

Phenomenal collection of Dutch history and art. It's easily worth a visit, but make sure that you get here early if you want to see Rembrandt's Night Watch - the crowds are insane.

Beautiful selection of pre-modern art!I recommend going earlier in the day, as later on in the afternoon, it gets more stuffy and crowded, and each wing fills up with lots of foot traffic.

Museu lindo por fora e por dentro. Aproveite a arquitetura local, quanto as obras tem de várias épocas, para gostos variáveis, vale a pena conhecer. Paguei 15 euros de entrada. Wifi grátis.

Wonderful items carefully preserved and well presented. Impressive building too. The iPhone app will take you through the exhibition, all you need is your phone and headphones.

You need at least 3h to only visit most popular periods. Gardens (in front and back) are amahzing - chill here even if not visiting museum. Entry is free and they are open until 18h.

Impressive museum, totally worth your time. Try going early so you don't get long lines and make sure you don't miss any rooms, as there are quite a few detours with extra exhibits.

If the cafe is full, go to the coffee bar down the large staircase. They have good coffee, great fresh brownies, and Dutch ‘stroopwafels’.

Rembrandt, Vermeer ve Frans Hals için gelinir. Avercamp'ın da 2 tablosu mevcut. Kütüphanesi etkileyici. Ancak Vermeer'in "Girl with a pearl earring" tablosu burada değilmiş, haberiniz olsun :)

The Late Rembrandt exhibition was excellent, and the Van Gogh and Vemeer paintings were gorgeous. Can't wait to go back and spend more time there.

Amazing collection of paintings. Save €5 by downloading their app for the audio guide. Free wifi in the building. See library, it is huge and amazing.

Been wandering around in here for quite some time. Every painting, statue, room is worth your time of looking at it. Great museum! Make sure you study the "nachtwacht"

Buy your ticket online or at the counter in front of the museum (cards only) if you don't like to stand in line...(for a long time). Try to come early if you don't like crowds.

Prendre les billets à l'avance pour éviter la foule. Un très beau musée avec des oeuvres splendide, à faire. C'est un musée concentré sur l'histoire d'Amsterdam avec les plus beaux peintres flamands.

The audio guide, here called "multimedia tour", is an iOS app: if you already have an iOS device, you don't need to pay the 5€ to rent a device: you can just download the Rijksmuseum app on the Store!

Download the museum's free app using their free wifi. It's exactly the same as the audio guide that costs €5. Look for numbers next to the pieces: gives you an idea which paintings to focus on.

Da non perdere! Ronda di notte di Rembrandt vale il costo del biglietto. Notevole anche la lattaia di vermeer. Il museo è il trionfo della pittura fiamminga!

Fui un martes a las 9 AM y, habiendo pasado por todas las salas, salí hasta las 5 de la tarde, horario de cierre. Tiene muchos objetos coloniales y pinturas del rico arte holandés. Visita obligada.

It's a little confusing to explore so be careful you're not exiting to the beginning as you have to go through 'checkin' again. You can photograph EVERYTHING and all staff are so friendly!

Visita obligada en tu visita a Amsterdam. La entrada no es muy cara. El museo está distribuido en varias plantas, más o menos grandes. Encontrarás obras realmente fantásticas. Muy concurrido.

In the week, if you arrive before 10.30am, then you'll manage to cut a HUGE amount of queue time. We got here at about 10am and had a stress free, great morning there.
