Rates can be quite cheap on certain days. Older hotel with nice view. 3 minute walk to Takeshiba station and 10 minute walk (or free shuttle) to Hamamatsucho station on the Yamanote line
Nothing is spectacular - everything is solid. Very convenient as the Liang Ma Qiao station is literally right in front
The top floor is crowded because the elevator goes directly to the top. Walk up to the middle floors. Similar views, less crowded

Nice airport with plenty of food and shopping options before and after security in the domestic terminal
Extremely convenient train access. At the international terminal, a lot of restaurants and attractions before immigration (including an observation deck). No Priority Pass lounge as of June 2017
Unlike most airports, security is at the gate. Don't buy any beverages after immigration - you'll have to throw it out at the gate
