- Erin Schulte CollierNovember 23, 2014This is the platonic ideal of a restaurant. Hard to recommend just one thing..it undersells and over delivers in every way
- Sean DalyJuni 18, 2017Above average brunch - the soft eggs were very good, bacon could have been better and the potatoes were a little oily. The pancake, however, is exceptional.
- California BakeryOktober 3, 2012Il ristorante della pluripremiata chef Gabrielle Hamilton, che offre una cucina di altissima qualità e creatività | The restaurant is owned by Gabrielle Hamilton, famous chef and author
- The two hour wait for brunch is worth it. Go for basically anything, the carbonera is fantastic, as is the eggs benedict. Lunch and dinner are superb too.
- Dan ValenMärz 12, 2011Go with a group of 5 or more and ask for the private room downstairs... Great dining experience. Ah, and for brunch, the fried oyster omelet wins.
- stephanie hodgeDezember 13, 2009brunch brunch brunch. ten different kinds of delicious bloody marys and the food is amazing. if you have 6 + people, you can sit at the secret table downstairs, and bypass the hour wait.
- Phil GrossMai 4, 2016Not a big bloody guy, but their bloodies are unreal! The best I've had, a must try.
- jake furstAugust 10, 2011ZOMG the Dutch Pancake with pear. Get it to share with the table..and pair it with one of their awesome Bloody's.
- Holger LüdorfJuly 11, 2010Had the Branzino, sweetbreads, and Gazpacho, which were all great. Reasonable for the quality. Really nice staff, too!
- Annie LuOktober 12, 2012Bar menu is great - get the oysters, radishes w butter, and the Southwest Bloody Mary.
- jake furstAugust 22, 2010For brunch, put your name in and wait it out at Bluebird Coffee down the street. Get one of the bloodies, ricotta to share, oh, and the carbonara should be illegal.
- Fried oyster omelette with Tabasco surrey is totally addicting.
- Daniela CuryMärz 11, 2011One of my favorite places in NY. Amazing brunch, great bloody marys, good burguer with a special herb sauce, lovely dinner...
- BonSeptember 22, 2019Still a solid brunch after all this time. Wait times are much more reasonable around 11am, ~20 mins
- Well worth the wait. Definitely get the steak and eggs.
- João CalmonNovember 10, 2012The full package: great atmosphere, wonderful food, top service and a great person behind everything.
- Joseph DunnSeptember 16, 2013Food was very good Service was not. Asked for bread was given it begrudgely. Wait staff more interested in chatting with each other and the bartender than doing their job. But food was delicious
- Sophia NilssonMärz 4, 2018Would have been disappointed even if the bill was half as much. Short rib was kinda chewy, the duck was ok but didn’t like the pairing with the tomato vinaigrette. No carbs unless ordering a side.
- Melissa HouglandApril 26, 2015For being known for being dinner was great. Shrimp toast to start. Squid dish was ok. The duck was good.
- wonderMode.comOktober 30, 2011One of the best brunch places in the city!! Fave - Dutch pancakes and oysters with lamb sausage.
- Amy WilsonJanuar 31, 2016I just don't understand why New Yorkers would want to spend an hour of their weekend queueing on the sidewalk? No from me to these wanky no-reservation spots.
- MariaMai 15, 2013Because there's a whole menu's worth of Bloody Marys, and each comes with a beer back!
- Citybeams.comJuni 29, 2012Try the Cheeseburger on an English Muffin for lunch! one of the best burgers in Manhattan
- Rebecca ChinnSeptember 16, 2017Not much elbow room and service wasn't particularly friendly when we went, but still really enjoyed the food and vibes!
- Lauren PresserApril 25, 2012Pick a sunny day for lunch, sit by the window and don't go past the Pimms Cup. Oh, hi bliss!
- Don't miss the bone marrow, sweetbreads and the ghost of mary...the best!!

- Abel LenzJanuar 8, 2011Lamb sausage and oysters are amazing. Worth the extra three bucks. Rare lamb roast, grille bread. Awesome.
- BravoDezember 2, 2010This tiny restaurant packs them in at all hours. I was especially impressed by the brunch menu, which takes familiar foods and elevates the flavors. -Maria Hines, Top Chef
