I really want to like this airport. Lots of amenities, clean, and friendly people. But it's got the most maddening, illogical layout I've ever seen.

TSA pre-check in terminal 4 takes less than 5 minutes No matter how many people are in line. They have 2 lanes and you fly right through. Love TSA pre-check!!

Great place for a layover....lots of food places spread out across the various terminals. Also not a bad place to watch people if you're a people watcher. Also free Wi-Fi :)

If you're in terminal 4 late, check out Paradise Bakery at gate C17. Open 24/7 and street prices. Bottle of water is only $1.75!

The terminal gate seating area, restrooms, eateries and other passenger support amenities are scarce based on the aircraft type and passenger loads using this terminal's gatehouse area.

Good Carnitas Burrito at Blanco. They also have plugs to recharge your phone or laptop in the tables. Close to Gate A6

Very nice airport, went to a great Mexican restaurant while waiting for a flight back to FL. Nice places to shop and if you need a ride to get to your gate they have these free cool cart drivers.

Main terminal before security has lots of good non-fast food options. Free wifi. After security pickings are more slim, but there is a decent French bistro

Home base for US Airways. Plentiful food and shopping options no matter where you are. Expect to do a lot of waking if your flight is in terminal 3.

Note: taxis are plentiful but my meter had already hit $11 before we even left airport property! Ride to convention center cost about $27 with tip

No where to nurse or pump. Pods are located OUTSIDE of security. Sitting on the floor outside of gate B15. Real neat.

PHX is like that nightmare you have when you're trying to escape, and it feels like you're running and not moving...the hall getting longer....this is what it's like connecting between flights.

If you are flying with US Airways, make sure that you come in three hours before you domestic flight. Even if you checked in and paid for the bags online, you may spend up to 90 min in lines.

If you're in the D concourse and sitting by gate 7... Watch your step! The view out the widow is nice, but watch the real birds inside searching the floor for crumbs! :)

This airport is big & it gets crowded quickly especially in the afternoon. Make reservations early & be there at the airport on time. Some flights maybe delayed, but just be patient.

If you are waiting to pick your loved ones up from Terminal 2 in Phoenix, try the Ocotillo Sun restaurant and bar. Its located before security and has meals with a southwestern flavor.

The pet relief area is not too shabby. Head outside the baggage claim exit and look for the chained fence area about 20 feet to your left when exiting the doors.

If you rent a car give yourself plenty of time on the return. The facility is far away and the bus ride to the airport can get crowded.

If you're checking a bag for Delta late at night, go up 2 floors to the ticket counter. Faster than the downstairs check in.

Good good options, and they're in the process of adding/renovating much needed bathrooms at the end of all the Terminal 4 gates. The lack of outlets though is a major headache.
