They sell beer after curfew. It will be expensive, but it is the place to go if you want a beer after 10pm to drink back at the hotel
Good prices are really high and the portions are small, so it is a better place to drink than to eat. Their strawberry mojito is to die for. The classic marguerita was terrible, skip that one
Good food here is good, cheap and they accept credit cards. Try the torta de Cochinita. The quesadilla is good as well. Panucho was too greasy, I’d skip that

Service sucks, Coke was as hot as Playa, but it is very cheap (15 pesos per quesadilla) and 3 quesadillas are fairly good to feed a person. The tingas and chincharon are the best ones.

One of the best, if not the best, neighborhood in Playa. Close to everything and very safe at night.
Awesome public beach. 5 pesos for showering or restroom. If you arrive early you may get a free palapa for shadow. Very nice

Small city with not much to do but they have great local places to eat cheap and amazing Mexican food and it is a great place to use as a base to go to Chichen Itza and Cenote Ik Kil
The bar is nice, a bit expensive though. I would not recommend going at night because there are a lot of mosquitos
