Of the best beaches in Barcelona It’s much further out so it’s naturally quieter and the sea is much cleaner. This is an optimal place to relax if you want to escape the crowds but still get a tan.

Locals and tourists alike love to hang out here: the many trees provide welcome shades in the summer, and it is much quieter than the beach. The Nature Museum set in a castle is a big plus.
Must-visit place for those, who is in love with gotic architecture. Church of saint heart works till 5 and note that you will not be allowed to come in wearing short shorts/skirts.

Sort of the main modern plaza in the old city center. Cool to walk around in, also where Gaudi walking tours often start, but otherwise a little bit too touristy. Especially the restaurants.
Walk around this colourful square on a sunny day you'll feel the charm and tradition of the village atmosphere. The plaza is filled with cafes, terraces and small shops frequented mostly by locals.
