Beautiful location. Friendly staff. The market & deli in the courtyard are well stocked and have great prices! Be sure to visit the Taco Bar down by the beach!
Anthony TrabsSeptember 2, 2012The beach is beautiful, but not swim-able. There's a Walmart and Sam's club close by, I suggest stocking up on snacks, breakfast and lunch items, water, and alcohol. Villa Del Palmar is beautiful and has friendly staff, but the noise level between rooms is loud.

Crooks! Beware! Menus show one price, bill shows a higher price than menu. They say its because of new menus coming next week. I call BS! Happened last week AND they've had the same menus for 5 years!

Prices are decent there, compared to the Tortugas restaurant; over priced and not very good.

Avoid the pool around 6:00AM. American males are allowed to have sex there for a couple of dollars. I saw this couple every morning I stayed here, despiste of this hotel being for families.
