If you are doing the roundtrip hike, start at Stinson Beach! First 1.5 miles is very very steep
Go the morning after a storm or a good rain. The clear air and stunning view will knock your socks off. Also, be prepared to climb 100+ steps to get to the top.
Approaching from the north, there is a dirt side road off to the left just before you reach the bridge. Drive up it a short way for a nice view of the bridge.

Not very large compared to neighboring Foothills Park, but also open for everyone to enjoy. Limited parking—only space for maybe three cars.
