The Kaiseki tasting menu takes you through a range of flavors and textures in seven different dishes, starting with the sakizuke—amuse bouche—and finishing with a bowl of fresh, local fruit.

My current must-order: the Japanese breakfast at brunch. Past favorites: the chicken wings, the grilled tripe in sauce (RIP), and the oxtail ramen (RIP).

Smallest bowl of ramen I've ever seen, delicious though. I made a reservation and got here 45 min before they closed but was still rushed to order and told I would be last table of the night.

Pork belly and chicken wings were good! Ramen burger was super greasy, noodles were nearly burnt and not worth the 40-minute wait. Service was eh. Promising but not a Mission must-do.

Chicken karage and bacon-wrapped mochi were the highlights. Pork belly was alright, but tan tan men and ox tail ramen were terrible and overpriced. Walk the extra 3 blocks to Ken Ken Ramen instead-
