David Essing: A hidden gem! Great coffee, good concept, they break down their expenses for you and it is up to your decision how much you pay for the coffee. Good atmosphere and friendly crowd.

Dens: Came here for breakfast, sat in the cafe way in the back and had one of the best ham + egg + cheese breakfast sandwiches of all time! (it's not on the menu, you gotta ask for it)

Emily G: Extremely beautiful and memorable. A must-see in Rio de Janeiro. Find your country's tile.

Marcos Pereira: Nice view of the newly built Maua Plaza. Gorgeous expositions.

Nikhil Shah: Great for a hot day. Eat at the snack bar, not the restaurant - grab your food and sit on the wall overlooking the sea. Signature dish is the delicious seafood broth served in a polystyrene cup!

Simone Lima: The most underrated place in Rio. Fantastic view and a very laid back vibe.

Aleksandr Mozgovoi: One of my favourite places in Rio. A perfect spot to watch the sunset.

Mark Cáceres: Best service. Great place for a date. Take in the view with a glass of white sangria.

Justin Chen: If you appreciate photography even a little you have to check this place out (admission is free). Plus, their AC is strong.

Sarina Arceo: I highly recommend to get te Brigadeiro gelato!

Aline Brandão: Always held on the first Saturday of the month, the crafts fair is popular among hipsters, alternatives and vintage aficionados. You might also enjoy the several lunch options along Lavradio street.

Thomas Thommy: For me the best beach in rio downtown - have a coconut and enoy the day:-)
