Ben: They make some good beer. And last time I was there they did a stout affogato
Ben: Boring shopping mall. Except it isn't. And the food court on the top floor is pretty good.
Ben: Get a meat pie with mashed peas. Basically the Australian equivalent of Joe's Pizza.
Ben: Get very drunk off cocktails served in teapots. Multilevel cocktail bar in an old terrace-style building.
Ben: Kings Cross. The nightclub/bar/red light district of Sydney. Expect everything to be trashy and drunk. Go if you want to go clubbing (see The World Bar)
Ben: BEAUTIFUL old shopping market. There is a passage so you can walk to nearby buildings if it is raining.
Ben: I used to live near here. They do great fish and chips, and BBQ octopus. I bit touristy though because it is near Darling Habour.
Ben: Huge outdoor market. Look for more of the artisanal food and less of the cheap $1 plastic goods
Ben: Famous espresso bar. The Australian coffee scene started in these tiny Australian back alleys and lanes. Stop for a coffee and pastry or wine and food.
Ben: I don't think you can get any more Melbourne, hipster coffee scene than this converted warehouse. Drink ALL the coffee and eat ALL the food.
Ben: Fancy tapas bar down the alley. Famous in Aust. Sit at the bar and order a few plates.
Ben: Come cuddle koalas, hang out with kangaroos. See all the Aussie animals.
Ben: These animals have better views than most people in Sydney. Definitely worth a day.
Kris: You have to take a ferry from Circular Quay to get there, but its a great zoo.
Zoe: Nice drinks great view of the beach. Coogee is the suburb of Sydney I use to live in
Kris: Get a seat on the 2nd floor.
