I love that you can pack a lunch to bring along because that saves you money especially if you come and have to pay admission but on free days the whole day can be free with packing a lunch

Prepare to spend a couple hours here, really nice museum with great, well-done displays. Go in the morning to avoid class field trips.

Daniel M. Soref Planetarium here is the largest and most modern in Wisconsin. It uses the Digitar 3 system, which is the latest in 3D digital planetarium technology. Take an out of this world trip! Mehr erfahren

The public museum is very deceiving. From the outside it looks small but it is enormous and a great place to take a date.

Monday is free for Milwaukee residents, so if you don't want to feel crowded don't come on Mondays.

If you have an MPM membership, the MacArthur Square parking lot fee is only $5 (versus $6 or $9 otherwise depending on time spent inside).

Make sure to buy your tickets for iMax at the main ticket booth. There are no signs in waiting area and I went from being first to twentieth in line.

Beginning January 6th the museum is no longer free to county residents. It will now be the first Thursday of the month.

Get a discount card from Visit Milwaukee for a 50% savings. Allow about 3 hrs to see the museum.
