- Markus BeeleApril 21, 2013Sehr gutes veganes/vegetarisches Restaurant und superfriendly! Must in SF!
- José AyalaJuni 25, 2018They changed location from downtown San Francisco. More casual style, but still great atmosphere. Amazing food, go for the tasting menu. Nice cocktails as well, but too small! Get a reservation.
- Yes, it's all vegan. And tasty. Burmese red-lentil curry is creamy, hearty. Stiff cocktails like a Redwood Martini w/ redwood tips and Millennium Manhattan w/ infused rye (in large jars at the bar).
- Steve EastJuly 31, 2015Join one of their special dinners if you can, with wine pairings, of course! This is salad course of annual Farmers' Market Dinner.
- Sabina B.Dezember 21, 2014Blown away by the amazing vegan cooking, I didn't miss meat one bit. Pricey but worth it - there's a reason it's often called the best vegan restaurant in the country. Stay yes to the bread, it's 💣.
- Amazing flavor profiles for plant based! You can't go wrong with anything you order here. It's my favorite place for special occasions.
- Kalyn KeirJuly 29, 2014Get the fried trumpet king mushrooms with Ponzu sauce as a starter. Amazing. I'm not a vegan but this place was delicious and ambience is great.
- Alex GarciaDezember 17, 2014Just a word to describe the 5 courses menu: feast. Totally worth the more than probably excessive amount of food, because you'll taste a great range of flavors and textures. Chapeau!
- SFistAugust 3, 2014This fine-dining establishment hits the jackpot with endless options for vegan eaters, like the crusted king trumpet mushrooms with arborio rice and coriander seed dredge, and citrus-yuzu ponzu. Mehr erfahren
- Anton ShusterOktober 11, 2015Crusted mushrooms continue to be dopehouse. They had a BBQ-y tempeh dish that was awesome as well. All the desserts are great, especially the strawberry shortcake.
- VegNews MagazineSeptember 14, 2012This vegan fine-dining mecca's annual Southern Comfort night is a must. For one night a year, roulades and soufflés take a back seat to burger bars, deep-fried pickles, and ice cream sundaes.
- Rebecca AllenAugust 15, 2017Always a great spot for a special dinner. Creative menu, sexy interiors. I'd say it's up there with the nicest vegan restaurants in the world.
- My favorite item on the menu is hands down the fried oyster mushrooms. I also love the cocktails and digestive elixir. You really can't go wrong ordering anything else on the menu either
- Dale TegmanOktober 30, 2011The best chef-driven vegan restaurant in San Francisco. One of the best in the world. The mushroom feast in the fall is worth reserving a table for.
- Alex MartinDezember 10, 2018Oyster mushrooms, Brussel sprouts and Tamal environment and service was great. No need for reservations can sit at the community table
- Rob. ArrMai 19, 2016Confirm the menu, particularly on a holiday (Mother's Day). What was listed & what was offered was quite different (& not very kid-friendly)
- Best ofAugust 4, 2014Millennium is the go-to vegan place in SF. Try the Smoked Tempeh and wash it down with glass of wine. Mehr erfahren
- Sarah KmonkJuly 24, 2016Maple black pepper glazed tempeh - so many flavors and the texture was incredible.
- Robert ColeJuly 25, 2011I highly recommend the Brick Pastry Roulade. One of the best dishes I have had in recent memory. Thinking it would be a great choice for someone who is not very familiar with vegan cuisine Mehr erfahren
- Nick GreifJuni 28, 2012Perhaps the best vegan restaurant on the western seaboard. The food is incredible from start to finish and a Foursquare check-in scores you a free dessert. ($40-70)
- The Crackerjack is a great peanut and vanilla infused bourbon cocktail. And order it without agave syrup for a boozier palette.
- Oded OuaknineAugust 10, 2014The English pea volcano rice cake is probably the best vegan dish I ever had
- Nate RaubenheimerJuly 5, 2014Amazing. The jerk tempeh is a winner along with the chocolate almond layer cake.
- Ben SpencerMai 2, 2014Excellent food but pricey, and the portions were smaller than hoped for. Vegetarian food being less calorie-dense, cordon bleu serving sizes don't really suit this menu.
- Kevin LippertJanuar 18, 2013Best vegan/vegetarian restaurant in the U.S. that I know. 5 stars, and always blows away my meat-eating friends, too.
- BarakSeptember 16, 2014Fantastic restaurant. Ordered the Forbidden Black Rice Cake as entree. Hip place with amazing vegan food.
- My favorite restaurant in San Francisco. Must visit if you're vegetarian. A little pricey though.
- If you can't get a reservation, try eating at the bar. It's the same stellar menu, but you get to chat with the bar tender and watch him/her make the drinks, which is fun.
- Dan FleischerFebruar 17, 2015Excellent and creative vegan food. Went for my birthday and can't wait to return
- Sean GJanuar 25, 2012Fancy, vegan fine dining at it's best. A bit on the pricy side, but it's worth a splurge once in awhile!
- Jamie McGurkDezember 2, 2012Try the 5-course tasting menu - 2 unique plates in each course. Fantastic!
- Diane Tate (Bisgeier)Februar 26, 2012Try the Edamame Cakes - with lots of mushrooms and figs and bok choy and ginger: nommmm @pfinette
- Crystal GaryMai 11, 2013You must get whatever crusted mushroom appetizer they have on the menu, you will not be dissapointed.

- One of the best vegan restaurants around the world. Gourmet like, expensive, but worth your money.
- ReShon AndersonAugust 20, 2011OMG this food is friggin' delicious!! Had a yummy tempeh dish and an *amazing* peach cornmeal cake dessert.
- If the salted lemon-line ice cream is on the menu, order it. It's like a tasteful frozen margarita without the booze.
- Everything is delicious!! Be sure to try a house-infused cocktail and definitely save room for dessert.
- Leanne VanderbylJuly 15, 2011Food is decent, ambiance is lackluster. If you're looking for really great vegan fare, opt instead for Gracias Madre or Oakland's Souley Vegan for half the cost.
- Oz LublingApril 28, 2010Excellent Vegetarian cuisine. The $40 pre-fixe is a great deal. The best dish on the menu is the polenta cake.
- the bar is the best place to sit! Make sure you get there on sundays for the best veggie burger and beer deal!
- Everything is so delicious. I love the pumpkin tamale the most. Yummmm!
