Tasty dominican food on the cheap. Get a full meal for $8 and if you're feeling adventurous and not scared of carbs, switch out the rice and beans for some Yuca...its bonkers here.

Best plantains in the city at this price. You will not find a place with more bang for your buck.

Best dominican food downtown. Plaintains here are delicious, as is the yuca! Come here late lunch to avoid the lines out the door

Be sure to put some hot sauce on the goat stew. Really pops the gaminess. Wash it down with a a Malta India (cane sugar soda).
