Excellent gym. They have cycled in a lot of new equipment in the last year that I've been a member. Very nice people. Layout is enjoyable once you understand it. Creates nice different spaces.

If you take Mondales class prepare for a 100 push-up cool down, literally. I can only do thirty in a row after years of taking it, but when I started I could only do 5...so don't get discouraged.

Straightforward, no nonesense. Come to work out vs get stared at. Be sure to check out all the rooms there's a newly opened third workout area.

I'm spoiled by my home gym, the Embarcadero Y in SF. Lakeview doesn't offer free towels or a pleasant experience: confusing layout, small weight room, and many malfunctioning and dated equipment.
