- Always book your flights weeks in advance so you don't have to fly American.
- Sit on the left side of the plane coming into and leaving the city. I find that usually gives you a great view of Manhattan.

- Go back to the ticket counter and get an agent to walk you through security when the TSA tries to tell you your carry-on is too large. Smile as you walk through.
- When in Terminal D ignore the restaurants and head to the Sam Adams booth at D8. There get a hotdog with a onion marinara made by hand by the owner. It is heaven.

- Delta terminal is actually pretty nice, iPads galore is a cool touch and some decent food options.
- Looking for somewhere to sit in the B Gates? Try the seats next to B1 behind the glass across from the panini shop. Nice seats and very quiet.
- Terminal D has great food options. Try Crust.
- Take the bus/subway to the city $2.50 beats $50 cab for the same amount of time.
- If someone outside the airport offers to drive you into the city in his windowless white van...decline.

- Go to D8 to the Sam Adams stand and ask Manny for a dog with onions made fresh! Best Dog Ever!!

- Comfortable and modern terminals. Decent food and drink to be had.
- They just added nice booths with individual outlets and upgraded the food in the Delta section. So nice now!
- Elizabeth GiblinAugust 14, 2019Between all the construction, the transit system not able to pick up/drop off at all terminals and the mess of a food court inside terminal D - total cluster!!!
- Watch out for Central Terminal, concourse B (airtran). It is the shittiest concourse I have seen in my life. Don't miss the wall of rust in the mens room.

- Since when is there an Artichoke in the US Airways Terminal?!? Now you can have your favorite hangover food while you are hungover at the airport.
- There's a special place in hell for airports who don't provide free Wi-fi.
- Laur Lo SkiNovember 25, 2014They've really improved LGA since I've flown out of there last! It looks very nice. Baggage claim however is still slow as hell! They do check your baggage claim slips now which is an improvement
- This airport always has problems with arrivals and gates! Expect to remain seated inside the plane for a while until another plane takes off and clears a gate.

- Ordering Uber at LGA after a Delta flight hasn’t been easy lately due to the constant construction. They have implemented a passenger pick up section so head there.
- Food options are very limited after security so make sure to get some food from food court a level below. Security usually takes 5 to 10 minutes

- Try the iPad ordering at the Empire Tavern. Just wash your hands afterwards.
- One of the easier choices for that NYC wannabe world traveler feel. Eat at "Mex and the city"
- Jetblue is the best terminal it's the closest to the exit. The M60 Bus takes you into Manhattan or transfer from the M60 to the N train at 31st Street and Astoria Blvd.

- Unclaimed baggage is melted down and formed into food court sporks
- AC terminal is like the third world. Drink heavily to make it go by fast. A disgrace.
