The specialty is the T-Bone, but you can order it as a Porterhouse for a little more filet mignon. Don't forget the skinny fried onion rings. Best steaks in NY and cool jazz performers Fri & Sat nite.
The Corcoran GroupNovember 1, 2011Not as stuffy or expensive as other steakhouses in the city, but just as delicious. Get the T-bone with sides of mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Save room for their famous cheese cake.
Old New York flavor is sealed by specialties such as steaks, daily oysters, smoked salmon, pre-brunch homemade mini-muffins. Choose wine from a long list. Soak up the vintage photos + posters.
Get the French onion soup, the lamb tenderloin flatbread, the blistered peppers, the salmon or tuna entrees, any of the steaks, the creamed spinach, and definitely the chocolate soufflé!
