The best Indian food in Portland is actually in Beaverton. Good vegan options here, too.
So much great Indian food in Austin and this place remains a standout. Can't go wrong with lamb.

I live in city with tons of great Vietnamese food and I still miss this place. The lemongrass chicken com dish can't be beat. I've never found anything else as good.
I know good Japanese food so I was worried about having it in Amarillo, but the menu looked decent. My suspicions were unfortunately correct. Pretty bad.
This is pretty much the only place in town serving actual Thai food,and it's some serious down-home goodness. Probably for the best that more white people don't know about it.
Their bulk section is awesome. Also the best prices in town for a number of items like pistachios, dried rosebuds and green almonds.
The pork cheek was probably my favorite, although everything from the grill was great. The only criticism I have is that most things were a little on the sweet side. Take that as you will.
This place is great as long as you stick to the ramen and completely avoid anything that's supposed to be grilled.
