Famous for big waves in the right conditions, it's also a great family spot. If you're brave enough, climb the big rock (left side) and jump off into the warm north shore water.
Awesome hike. Good for anyone around 12 and up. View from the top is splendid. If you're in really good shape, try and scale it in 20 mins
Cajun fish sandwich is great; more than anything, it's a nice spot on the water after an activity (shark diving, boating, etc)
Usually a wait but a nice lively beachside bar/restaurant. If you can snag a table on the patio, post up there allllll day long.
A truly stunning, serene beach. Clear water and sand with the texture of flour. One of the most tranquil places I've been.
Sunrise from Diamond Head is magical. Get there at 5:50; gate opens at 6. It'll be dark out, but it's a simple hike. Do it on the first day, when you can use your jet lag hours to wake up early.
Place is classic Brooklyn - the decor, the staff, the patrons. The pizza is amazing - sweet and saucey. Finish with a Spumoni for desert.

Really cool rooftop for a calm summer night; best left for drinks, in my opinion. I went for dinner and the food was average. Atmosphere is awesome, tho, and very close to the Bedford L for NYC folk.
I hit it sober and kinda regretted it; put a few beers in me and it would be heavenly.
Love the salad bar. Careful, though - go there hungry and you'll leave with a 1.8 pound $20 salad
Good pizza to share, nice apps, lively scene. Save some room for the Nutella pizza dessert - it's a must.
Our table had both lunch and brunch plates and it was all great. The chorizo is excellent
