- If you have to fly out around 5am(ish), don't bother to show until 4:15, the gates will open then. Also, none of the vendors are open yet.
- The flatbread at Granite City (concourse A) is good and service is quick.
- Pass on the McDonalds if you are seeking a quick meal. It is slower than most other restaurants in the airport and the service is a joke on a good day.

- Paul McCluskeyAugust 1, 2011The world's stupidest smoking policy is in place here. If you want to smoke, head for the parking garage and hide behind an SUV. Like you are 12.

- Julian NamMai 31, 2011If you're picking up a passenger, then use the cell phone lot off exit 68 to wait. If you need to eat, then better options are in the Civic Plaza (pre-security area, between the 2 concourses).
- Sun King beer is available in several places! Harry & Izzy's, Patachou, and the Omni hotel attached to the terminal...
- Free WiFi. Some restaurants open around 4:30am. Starbucks opens 24hours.
- There arent any gas stations near the airport so gas up your rental car well before you get here!
- Best TSA Precheck I have been through.
- Trevor SmithDezember 20, 2013TSA here made me feel violated. The brewery in terminal a was great. Not busy at all on for a Friday morning....
- Cafe Patachou has great omelets and coffee. And pretty darn good sourdough toast.
- Breathe deep and enjoy a Smokefree airport - inside and outside too.
- BEWARE!! Everything here closes really early, sidewalks roll up at 7pm.
- TSA screening goes quickly here. You normally don't need the full hour and a half before your flight to get to your gate. United gate is very slow.
- Security is super efficient!! I was checked in and at my gate in 45min
- Small airport but lots of good stores and options inside
- Jennifer D'ArcoJuni 30, 2013Clean airport much smaller than I'm used too. TSA agents seemed pretty thorough
