A layover where you don't exit the plane can be a money saver vs. a terminal layover. Play the odds. Roll the dice. NB: The House always wins, in the long run.
Rental car situation is nightmarish. Nothing onsite. Shuttles take up to 30 minutes+ and the actual lot is nowhere near the airport. It took just shy of 1 hour to drop off car and get to security.

Jenny FeathersApril 1, 2010Do whatever you can to have your boarding pass printed before you get there if you fly Delta, check-in lines and security are bananas. If you're running late, tell them, they'll rush you at check-in.
They have a tasty coffee bean & tea leaf here, but beware, they don't accept coffee bean gift cards. :-(

Terminal 3 is new and neat. Sprawling, but we may grow into it.
You're not allowed to check-in baggage more than 4 hours early. This is for Southwest, you might want to check with the other airlines.
I just watched a girl running through the terminal trip, fall down, throw up, start crying, then start running again. Sometimes you're lucky to live through this town
